The Portuguese term for "River January", was once the capital of Brazil (1763–1960) and of the Portuguese Empire (1808–1821). Commonly known as just Rio, the city is also nicknamed A Cidade Maravilhosa - "The Marvelous City".
-- I want to visit this place. Such a beauty. Nice sceneries, lots of hunks, great beaches, carnival, fab gay parade and the home of CHRIST THE REDEEMER which was hailed as one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.
