He is the eldest child of HRH Princess Caroline of Monaco and Hanover and her second husband, Stefano Casiraghi, an heir to an Italian oil fortune. He is currently second in line to the throne after his mother.
Known for his delicate blond good looks and athletic skills — he rides, skis, plays football and also guitar. He is fluent in French, English, Italian, and German.His good looks and royal lineage made Andrea Casiraghi a favorite with the press, somewhat along the same lines as Prince William of Britain actually he was included by People Magazine in 2002 as one of the Top 50 World's Most Beautiful People.
He is currently a student at the American University of Paris, where he is taking up visual arts and international politics.
